Through my decades-long struggle with my voice, I realized that stress, and my reaction to it, was the biggest obstacle to my success.  No amount of coaching in the world could help me because I didn’t feel safe and able to be engage and be in the moment.

How it works:

Everything our body does, it’s because the brain told it to—including holding on to tension and bad habits. Of course this is incredibly frustrating when you are desperately trying to rewire your brain AWAY from the old patterns. Getting started is easy!

STEP 1

Sign up for your first TRE® group class

STEP 2

Before your first class, watch a prerecorded video to teach you a little more about TRE: how the nervous system and the body communicate, and how the natural reflexive shaking we experience using TRE® can help you let go of years of stress and tension. The link to this video will be provided in your confirmation email.


STEP 3

Set up your space for class. Use the link provided in your confirmation email for guidance.


STEP 4

Attend your first class. I recommend showing up a few minutes early to make sure your camera set up is going to work for you. All classes are held via ZOOM. I lead you through the series of TRE® exercises, how to self-regulate so that you always feel comfortable and safe throughout the process, and suggestions to fine-tune your techniques for maximum effect. Additionally, we will go over some modifications to use as you integrate into your self-care practice. I am also available via email for simple questions that come up during your practice.


STEP 5

We recommend attending 3 classes total before beginning your at home TRE® practice.

FAQ 

How many sessions do I need to do before I can do TRE® on my own?

Most folks need approximately 3 sessions to integrate how their body needs to utilize the exercises most effectively.  

Is TRE® safe for everyone?

Almost everyone can safely participate in TRE®. If you have an Autonomic Nervous System disorder, I may refer you to a provider who has additional training to better support you.  

Is TRE® covered by insurance?

Unfortunately I do not. I am a coach, not a medical provider so I am unable to accept insurance. 

Is TRE® therapy? Do I need to tell you why I’m stressed?

TRE® is different than most stress modalities in that you don’t have to tell anyone your story. We are working with the body, allowing it to release whatever stress it is holding in a natural way.

Do you have payment plans?

The Group offering on Friday mornings are donation-based. As for 1:1s, yes. There are several financial options. If after looking things over you need help with the financial piece of things please contact me directly and let’s talk. 

Is there a benefit to 1:1 vs. group classes for TRE®?

A group class is more economical, and is extremely effective for most people. For some, 1:1 work will be a better fit if you have specific needs that would require modifications, or if we need to slow down the pace. There is also more opportunity for individual interaction in a 1:1 session, which will give you more specificity, so if you like to have all the details that will be a better option for you.

Is TRE® effective online or should I do it in person?

These exercises work extremely well in an online class. We leave extra time in the session to make sure we can see each other clearly and you understand all the steps to the exercises. For some people, it feels more comfortable to do the class in their own home environment, as well.
